I am so glad that you are recapping this series. I love the complexity of the characters. I adore how the writers are not revealing TOO much too soon. It is actually tantalizing to get to know them https://www.datingstream.org slowly…how they think and how they respond to situations. So she tottered back down and marched into the other drunk girl’s room and climbed onto her bed (with the other drunk girl in it).

He counters by asking why she gave Yeo-reum money, and she says it’s business and takes offense in turn at his suspicion. The wedding coordinator comes to get them since Hoon-dong has been calling the groom down the aisle for several minutes, but Jang-mi cries that she can’t get married feeling this way. Dad shows up and Mom admits to having invited him, but Hyun-hee comes to get Ki-tae before he can address any of this.

Plus I’ve spent basically the whole drama admiring Han Groo’s fantastic legs. Thanks for sharing, Chandler and alcoholicbubbletea! Joo Jang Mi is exactly how I will remember Han Groo. I know she lived in China as a child, but her Mandarin is seriously so impressive.

The Flaming Heart (

Being an avid fan of the webtoon and having watched several of their works, I was honestly very impressed by KMG’s acting! I felt he brought out the gentle yet meticulous persona of Secretary Cha really well. I wouldn’t imagine Secretary Cha to be very different from how he had portrayed it. I liked that it overdid the romance and comedy aspects such that it wasn’t cringey but a lot more enjoyable to watch. I finished it with a lot of fast forwarding.

His character gets better and better for a mama’s boy with questionable taste in boxers. I had been (im)patiently waiting for this recap to come up to vent. There’s nothing about them that’s worthy of my time… Maybe I lost faith in them when one turned out to be a rapist and the other owned a French restaurant but serves pasta and other Italian dishes. Maybe the awesomness of this show at its start made my expectations too high but this episode just really, really disappointed me. Will she change her manipulative ways?

Marriage Not Dating: Episode 13

The girl almost died because they abandoned her! How is it no one has raised this issue? I’m surprised she didn’t grow up even more messed up with an upbringing like that. I cried with JangMi when she was talking to her dad about the reason why she let the show go on for longer than she should have…

She tells him that she doesn’t want to be friends or see him ever again, because her feelings for him were sincere and the more she knows of him, the more embarrassing that sincerity becomes. It turns out that Yeo-reum’s suit was paid for by Se-ah, who invited him to her charity party and wanted him looking his best. Hoon-dong gets peeved that he seems friendly with Jang-mi too, and Yeo-reum just reminds him that they’re broken up. Hoon-dong counters that she’s just nice to everyone, so it’s not what he thinks. Thankfully for us, Ki-tae’s family is so nuts that his aunt is currently following them, so they have to go on a date to keep up appearances.

Call me biased and blind, but that’s how much I love it. Also, SBS probably didn’t have much faith in the show initially, hence ordering 12eps. Their previous Mon-Tues shows didn’t fare so well either, so ABP’s success seemed to come as a big surprise (which is well deserved imo). The part Hari taking care of Grandpa could stay, but no more than that. Quite easily one of the best rom-com’s I’ve watched in a while.

He is phenomenal here and displays some serious range. Lee Joon Gi is fucking amazing, I tend to watch younger actors and more fluffy shows, and omfg this man blew me out of the water. That has to be the best performance I’ve ever seen in a kdrama! I gotta watch more serious stuff w experienced actors. I get why it ended the way it did, and I’m not mad about it, but c’mon am I the only one who was expecting/hoping for it to end with him getting all his memories back after choosing Ji-Won again?

I think she needed to see her parents hit rock bottom to understand that not only can she not help them have a good relationship if they aren’t willing to do the work themselves, but it’s not her job. Who she marries, or even if she marries, could never hold them together on a long-term basis if they don’t want it for themselves. That and seeing Hoon-dong and Hyun-hee move on with their own lives, and even losing her job, frees her up to stop worrying about everyone else and focus on what she wants for herself. Cable network tvN is on a roll, and Marriage Not Dating is the latest in a string of light, fresh, airy rom-coms with characters that just draw you in and make you fall in love. The magic lies in the characters who may seem like standard drama stereotypes at the outset, but the more we get to know them, the more they surprise us with their depth and individuality. The show is uniquely funny, and also has a massive amount of heart, and I’m already in love.
